My FI’s grandmother just passed away last year, so when I brought up the idea of the memory table, he was not a fan (I have lost a lot of my family, and he lost his grandmother this past year and an aunt about 10 years ago). I thought about not doing it, but it reallky means a lot to be able to involve my granparents that passed and my uncle, so I finally brought it back up and just told him it was important to him, and we would talk to his family before deciding to add pictures of his grandmother and aunt and he agreed. But thats about as far as i’ve gotten..hopefully people will post some good ideas on here!

I lost my grandma 5 months before the wedding and I had a framed photo of her at my parents’ table.  Just a little one in a nice silver frame.

How about doing a photo album with the poem on the cover?

I’ve seen quite a few people just put their photo’s in cool frames, matching or not, depending on your style. You can then print and put your poem in a center frame.

We didn’t do photo’s just a candle with a little sign on the front that said why we were burning it.
