When I got m'd in memphis (back n the day to my former husband) I went to the Germantown post office. They were super nice to me. Might be a fee now. You could also try a smaller yet local somewhat post office like Lakeland or Eads or Somerville?
Kinda random, but the University of Memphis has a post office - I wonder if they can do it for you there too? When school's not in session they are not busy at all. If you look at U of M's website, I think you can find a phone number for the post office and give them a call.

@ballenga - I work at U of M - I heart them too! Actually, today was the first day of classes, which I always think is fun. I will eventually be an alum whenever I finish this doctorate . . .
You could also try the smaller towns like Hernando etc. They may not be as busy during the week as Memphis...
I can't heart U of M because I was a Vandy girl in my past life lol! Shhhh don't tell my stepdad...
But I will probably be home on Thanksgiving or Christmas and would love to meet up with our Memphis girls.

All ye Memphis brides: Any thoughts as to how one can get a few hundred wedding invitations hand-canceled in Memphis? We are willing to pay a fee if that option is available, but are not sure that such an option exists given that the USPS is a government entity. Any suggestions are most welcome.
