@missjess12:  You know, my dad is a romantic comedy guy!  But i don’t know if he still is, since it doesn’t seem to be such a strong genre these days. :/ But my dad was a huge fan of all of the meg ryan “rom coms”! 😀

I can’t even stand to watch them. I call then chick flicks. I’d be horrified if my husband wanted to watch them and he’d be doing so alone 😛

My SO doesn’t mind watching them from time to time but only with me. I’ve never met a guy who likes watching chick flicks alone!

My FI watches them with me. He secretly likes them.

@MrsPanda99:  Hahaha So true! I am not sure I would have a positive reaction if my husband all of a sudden decided to watch romantic comedies! I would be shocked to say the least.

My guy enjoys a few, but in general he isn’t in love with the genre, and he would certainly choose other movies over a rom com.

But he doesn’t loathe them, and he’ll watch them with me. By himself? I doubt he ever would.

@missjess12:  My DH LOVES them! But he refuses to admit it.

Instead he calls them “dramatic comedies”, or “Why don’t we watch Twilight? I know how much YOU love that movie!” (I don’t, by the way. But he does!)

Well we both loved Love Actually and my guy has been known to watch a few others with me, as long as they are good ones and funny.

My step dad loves em’… Even more than my mom, although she says it cause of all the testosterone he’s lost over the years Lol… The closest I could get to have FI watch a romantic comedy was, ‘This Is 40.’ Lol

@kerensa:  I know so many men who unabashedly LOVE Love Actually including my SO!!

He also loves Forgetting Sarah Marshall (which is definitely heavier on the comedy and less on the romance) and Friends With Benefits (I don’t know how much of that is just a love of Mila Kunis though).

He’ll definitely watch romantic comedies with me though (and usually enjoy them!)
