MY ring has a hidden diamond! It's not set on the inside like the one you saw the photo of, but instead it's on the edge of the band. Its the tiniest little sparkle, and I only notice it when I'm driving (or doing a zombie type movement with my arms strait out) and it winks up at me. It's set totally flush, and the band is just plain white gold otherwise. I can't find a photo of it online just now, but I know there must be one, and I'll try and give you a link tomorrow. Even though it's not a men's ring, and not on the inside it should give your FI a visual.
I don't think you should be concerned if you can't find the link again- if he likes it, I'm sure it would be easy to find a jeweler who can make it for you.

mr bop has a secret diamond. i surprised him with it. he picked out the band and i had the diamond added. it's the same size, cut, color + clarity as the diamonds in my wedding band. he was shocked and loved it! it sits totally flush and is comfy.

I love this idea, its totally me though, I'm a major NOT fan of claw-settings! bez setting or flush for meeee, or none at all! this is my ring (not e-ring, just ring) but CZ stone instead of topaz

springroll - yep same here - I dunno if it was a "man's man" thing or just that he didn't want to be a "diva" (like Mr. Champagne - whose ring, by the way, I think is awesome.)

I have secret diamonds in my e-ring: a pink (for me) and a green (for him). I wanted to do the same for him, but he doesn't want any bling, even if it's on the inside.
However, I really like this ring, still a subtle bling!
OOOOOOOOOOoooo I like that. The man says it is "kinda neat". I don't know if he means "I would consider it", or if he means "It's alright... for someone else.".. we'll see.

I was looking through a bunch of wedding websites a few weeks ago, and came across a men's ring that had a "secret", "hidden" diamond in it. By this i mean it was a white metal band and had a small round diamond (probably 1/10 carat or smaller) set flush on the INSIDE of the band, so that the man would only be able to see it if he took off the ring.
My man doesn't want any bling, but I have been trying to find ways to incorporate a little in to his band. He did admit that he thought Mrs. Hydrangea's hubby's bling was pretty neat, but I don't think he'd go for even that much understated bling.
So I happened to mention to him this 'secret/hidden' diamond idea... and to my surprise, he LIKED IT. He was interested! He wanted to see a picture! ...which, oh crap, I didn't bookmark. And I can't find it.
So I'm wondering if any of you has seen this same image/article/post - we're all wedding blog/site stalkers, are we not!? Because of it's unusual nature, I figured I'd seen it on offbeat bride, but I am just not sure and my aimless clicking around has been fruitless so far.
Looking for a ring made of white metal (plat, titanium, wh gold), with a small diamond mounted flush on the INSIDE of the band, so it would be against the finger while the ring's being worn. Thanks ladies.
