So we’re staying at a cottage out in the country for a weekend break. First morning, and we’re in bed, rain pouring down outside.
I remember I left some toiletries in the car, so DH says he’ll get them. He gets out of bed and heads out IN THE BUFF to collect them.
He gets back, I’m like ‘what the HELL?’ and he says it saves getting his clothes soaked! Easier to towel down than hang up wet clothes. So, we’ve never heard of waterproof clothes, umbrellas, etc??
I’m sorry but is this just me? Am I the weird one here??

Beccka: I had a girlfriend in university co-ed dorm life who forgot to take her robe to the shower. Rather than try to wrap the too tiny towel around her body, she wrapped it around her head, leaving tiny eye slits, so she could return to her room anonymously!

His logic works.
It was out in the country and it’s raining… what are the odds of anyone seeing him lol.

Hahahahaha I guess it is better than getting your PJs wet and then having to climb into bed with wet clothes!

That’s awesome. My SO walks around naked all the time, so this really isn’t surprising to me! He once got the bright idea to cook bacon, naked. He put on clothes REALLY fast.

I think it’s a guy thing. My DH always gets half dressed (if that) and instead brings his clothes out to the table after showing, and dresses there. I asked him once why he gets dressed at the table instead of in the bedroom, and he said it was because he wanted to be near me. Cute, and how could I fault that, but….definitely man logic!
julies1949: That just made me laugh out loud! Brave girl…

As someone who is most comfortable naked, I’d go outside in the buff. It was raining, chances are no one was going to see him anyway.

hahahah! Definitely not something my DH would do, but I got this hillarious mental image of a naked guy booking it across a field in the rain lol… not sure why a field, but funny all the same haha!

I mean, were you the only cabin out there? If there was no chance of anyone seeing, I could kind of understand. I know my hubs would at least put underpants on. How funny. I would never just leave without any clothes on. But I think that’s where men and women are different. We care, men just…don’t.

MrsWoods47: well that’s the weird thing – there was nobody about but when I looked out he was dashing to the car holding his family jewels!
Glad this sounds like what some other bees’ SOs might do. What I don’t figure is, modesty aside, it would be so cold getting out in the rain naked – in May! But it didn’t seem to affect him. I was cold just looking at him (and I DO sleep in pj’s – mens pj’s to be exact!)
Who was it said that they are a different species??
