I want to get some for my dad, so I would love the answer to this too. I’m planning on wearing heels the day of, and at 5’3″, I’m already 3 inches taller than my dad.

@ms. headphone: Good thinking! I should have my dad wear them too. I’m a good inch or two taller than him barefoot.

@Miss Tattoo: Lol, I don’t know many men who would be okay with the heels. Those who would, probably wouldn’t be marrying a lady!

My fiance and I are the same height (actually i say that I am a little bit taller, like a 1/2 inch) and I don’t think he would go for this. I am also taller than my dad in heals and my dad is 6’1″ and her would DEFINATLY NOT go for this.

I’m just wearing flats, they are more comfortable for dancing anyway.

Actailly I thought they were hard, b/c if they were foam they would just go flat and not do you any good.

@Miss Tattoo: I saw pictures of him in those platforms and immediately thought of my dad on the wedding day. He’s no RDJ, but he could probably pull it off. Or we could just let his hems down to cover it.

@Miss Tattoo: They definitely work. I used to work in film and television and on one particular series I worked on, one of the male costars wore shoe lifts because he was teeny tiny compared to the female star and he was SUPER self conscious about it. I’m pretty sure he tried doubling them up sometimes too. I never heard him complain about them being uncomfortable or anything. If you need recommendations for other brands, let me know, I still have friends in wardrobe 🙂

I might have to ask my FI about this.

Although I’m actually an inch shorter than him, I will be wearing 4 inch heels the day of. He actually prefers it that way as he’s always liked women taller than him, but I’m not so sure.

We’ll see what he says.

@Miss Tattoo:  What’s wrong with being a taller than your groom?
