OK ladies, I know that we all pump our bodies full of vitamins and supplements to help in the TTC (and pregnancy) process, but I’m interested to hear if any bee’s have their DH’s or SO’s on vitamins/supplements as well. My DH takes a VitaCrave Gummy each morning (basic One A Day Men’s vitamin) but that’s it. Do you all think there are other nutrients he should be getting?

I found a men’s Mulit CVS brand that claims it supports reproductive health. Now weather or not it works I dont know considering we haven’t got a BFP. But im sure my factors are what’s delaying us.

I bought a bottle of L-Cysteine, but that’s about it.

My husband takses a basic one a day men’s vitamin. That is it. He had a SA done in February and everything looked good. The issues are def coming from my side.

DH just took a good daily multi vitamin. We joke that it gave him “super sperm” because when we conceived, it was about a month after he first started taking them, and we got pregnant by only having sex once, 5 days before I ovulated!

Zinc is a critical component in spermatogenesis. The amount in a multivitamin is sufficient. =)

Do you have SA report? My DH results have come back less than stellar so I’m looking to add additional vitamins on top of his dailymale vitamin:
- More Anti-oxidants such as Vit C, Vit D, B-complex
- Herbs such as Maca Root and Ginseng

@squeak35: we haven’t done a SA yet- DH is set on not visiting the doctor for any tests for either of us until we hit the year mark.

My DH just took his regular men’s vitamin (New Chapter Every Man). I was going to add zinc & vitamin C to his daily vitamin regimine if it took us longer to get pregnant though.
