we are going to use them for our wedding. We have already put down the deposit there and they have lots of styles and colors. The colors match Davids Bridals colors as well. I am sure you will find a great style suited to your needs there. We found amazing style at good price! Were using the Calvin Klein Shadow Stripe tuxedo jacket black pants and black shoes and jade tux vests and jade ties.
We are using them also and have been very pleased with their customer service. We have also already put a deposit down with them. The guys will be wearing the Traditional First Look ensemble.
We used them. It was ok. I think what you would expect. We chose it because our groomsmen were from all over the country and it made it easier. When they picked up the tuxes, almost everyone had something wrong with theirs. Mostly wrong sizes and such. However, they were able to fix it right then, so no biggie.
We used them and had a decent experience. One of the groomsmen had a bit of trouble with the right fit but they made it right before the wedding and everyone looked good. They were also flexible about letting the men return the tuxes a day or two after the wedding instead of next day since all our dudes were from out of town. I'd use them again.
We went just to look at our options. We were looking at ties and the lady came up to help us. She said that since I have pink dresses, the boys had to wear pink ties. I said no, I don't want to make them spend money on a tie they won't like and will never wear again, I don't care if it matches. She was so pushy and wouldn't let it go. So we walked out.
Thanks so much for the responses! Our guys are also spread out in California, so I thought it would be easier if we picked what we wanted them to wear and then let them know and they could put their deposit down/be fitted at the nearest Men's Wearhouse to where they are located. Does anyone know if they are able to put down their deposit and get fitted in one Men's Wearhouse, but actually pick up their tuxes in another (the closest one to the wedding) the day before the wedding?
I'm definitely hoping that they aren't too pushy, because we are in the same boat with my girls wearing pink dresses, but I would rather have the guys wear black instead of pink.
Mens Warehouse is great if you have groomsmen all over like we do - they can get fitted i their city and pick up here for the wedding. Pricing was reasonable and they have a ton of choices in styles and color.
The customer service and costs were great! The only negative I would add is that a few of our groomsmen lost buttons throughout the day. Luckily, my Mom (who is also a former G.S. leader) had a mini-sewing kit in her emergency kit. Make sure to check the suits closely before leaving MW.
Sounds great! I'd better get on this soon since our wedding is only 74 days away!
Oh, does anyone have any experience with that deal that they have where if you get the groom's tux for free if you rent x number of tuxes?
@bride2bekatie - My hubby actually got a better deal! He was able to get a free suit afterwards! I think it was a $300 value!
We're using Men's Warehouse! We go this Saturday to pick them out!! ((I say YAY!, FI says..ehh..Lol)) Anyone know what the average price of a basic ensemble is? Vest, tie, shoes, jacket pants. We're going for a basic, modern tux and hopefully it'll be affordable, too!
@Bride2BeKatie: You and the groom need to go into your local Men's Wearhouse and pick out the tux style. They put it in the computer along with your groomsmen's names and then they can go to whatever MW is closest to them to get measured. All of the tuxes will arrive at your local MW for the wedding.
Also, you need to rent 5 tuxes BESIDES THE GROOM'S TUX in order to get the deal. The "besides the groom" part is in the fine print. We have 2 groomsmen, 2 fathers, and the groom, and we have to pay for his since it isn't enough people besides him :(
Finally, I just got a coupon in the mail the other day for something like an additional $20 off per person if they are a member of the loyalty points program, so maybe you should ask about that or look around for the coupon.
ours are Calvin Klein full assemble for 130 rental includes everything. We got 60$ off each though cause my FH stood up in a wedding last year and they told him theyd hook it up if we went there for our wedding.
Well, it looks like we will be going to pick out styles soon! And we have 4 groomsmen and 2 dads, so we are good to go on the free tux, if that works out to be the best deal. Thanks for all of the help, ladies!
I like their styles, but I found cheaper options elsewhere. I was also surprised that when you look at tuxes that's all you do --- look at tuxes. The men aren't allowed to try them on. Boys and girls shop quite differently....
We used them--1 groom, 2 dads, 5 groomsmen, 4 jr groomsmen/ringbearers from all over the place. They could get measured and pay at their local store. You can pick them up 2 days in advance, which they actually recommend so you can try them on and make sure everything is OK. I had some small problems with the boys--defective ties which they exchanged no problem and the ringbearer--either his shirt was too big or jacket too small because his shirt sleeves were too long. However his parents didn't try it on him in advance so I wasn't able to get that fixed. My biggest issue is that the boys tuxedos were as much as the mens ($120+) so I got them suits instead.
Blue Champagne is right-- you pick your tux out of a catalog at MW. There's nothing to look at, touch, try on-- I can't imagine a bride choosing her dress the same way, but somehow it's okay for men(?). It didn't use to be that way, of course-- before MW got into the business, you went to a local tux shop and tried a few things on to see what looked best on your guy for the biggest day of his life. Those shops are still around, just a lot fewer of them. Groom's free with FOUR paid is pretty easy to find (sorry, texsylvanian), prices are typically quite a bit lower tyhan MW, and they have inventory on hand. This means you can try things on, but also means you aren't out of luck if you need to make last minute changes or one of your out-of-town guys needs a bigger jacket or something (more common than you can imagine). Not *everyone* shops at Wal-Mart, though, and fortunately for the local tux shop, not everyone goes to MW.

Hi Everyone!
I live in the LA area and was thinking of going to Men's Wearhouse to check our tuxes for my fiance and his groomsmen and have my fiance try different styles on to see what he likes. Does anyone have experience with them? Thank you in advance!
