I love apples of gold! www.applesofgold.com They have an awesome selection and some very uniques rings. They also have a lot of the "manly looking" titanium ones that my husband wanted. He actually had a hard time deciding which one he ultimately wanted and really loves it. They have great customer services as well. Good luck!
We found that most jewelery stores will have big catalogs full of rings of varying metals that can be ordered in within a week or two. There's usually not many men's rings in the cases, but there are usually a ton of options in the catalogs.
If you're looking at titanium or tungsten, we got ours from http://customringdesigns.com/ and had a really good experience. I think it's just a guy working out of a home studio, but he was very responsive to my husbands questions. My husband looked at the (really cool) designs on the website and then came up with his own, which Steve was happy to make it to his specifications. Hubs was happy to know that it's the only ring like it in the world, and it turned out beautifully!
We have also ran into that problem. As Merry said many stores have catalogs with rings but don't find it worth while to keep stock at the store. We are going to use JamesAvery.com but thats only because my fi likes their jewelry.

Has everyone had good experiences with online stores? I'm a little afraid, expecially with precious metals and so much money involved. How do you know that you got what you paid for?
I would suggest Etsy - they have a ton of neat man-rings (in particular we are thinking about getting this one: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_gallery_19&listing_id=14473268) and because they are such a large organization you can check each sellers credentials - and I personally have only heard good things about that shop.

We went ring shopping, and of course went back to the shop where my engagement ring came from to order the matching wedding band. We were really disappointed in the choice the men get. We have looked around but nothing that amazing anywhere. I feel sorry for him as we get to choose from literally thousands and there was a tray of about 40 for him. Any suggestions?
