Check out this site/community:

I found more info there about cups than I ever thought possible 🙂  Check the FAQs on the right hand side of the page for info you’re looking for.

I love my cup, I’ve been using one for the past 3 years and wouldn’t dream of going back to pads or tampons.  Good luck!

I love them! I don’t have the DivaCup yet but I’m going to be getting it soon! I use the SoftCups from walmart. They’re still disposable which isn’t my favorite but you can wear one for 12 hours so I only have to use 8 for my 4 day cycle. Can’t feel them at all either once they are in.

Tanleggedjuliet:  I use a Diva Cup and I love it! It was a little tricky at first but I got the hang of it quickly and have had no desire to go back to tampons! I’ve totally recommended it to my friends. My advice is to make sure you don’t put it in too far (can be hard to get out) and to change it often when you can (less messy). Good luck to you!

Tanleggedjuliet:   I definitely agree with lauroo

Great place for info. I have a DivaCup which is honestly THE BEST THING EVER. I’m so pleased with it. I used to have really bad cramps (like, CRIPPLING couldn’t-walk-on-the-worst-day cramps) and they have improved now that I use the DivaCup instead of tampons.

<br />Honestly, I feel like knowing about menstrual cups is like knowing some excellent secret that most of the world is missing out on.

Love my menstrual cups!  They’re so much better than tampons or pads. I have a medium and a large MeLuna Sport (http://www.meluna.org).  They’re a German companybut they ship worldwide.  I find cups generally last about 5 years before they get gross looking.  My last cup was still fully functional, it was just stained so I got new ones. There’s definitely a learning curve, but once you get the hang if it they’re great!
