I'm sure It'll look great, I would add a silver sash on the girls. Or the men with all purple. i don't understand where the silver came from for the men. so if you add it on the girls as well it will mesh better.
I've never seen it done but it sounds pretty!
It sounds a bit busy to me. I can see that you thought of the groom wearing a gold vest(waistcoat) to match your dress, but i'm not sure gold is the best color with grey.
Can you not have him in a silver waistcoat but wearing a different tie than the groomsmen? Maybe a stripe with purple and gold?

hey ladies,
i have been desperately searching for photographs to see how the shceme i'm planning would look.
the girls will be in purple, my dress is light gold
the boys will wear grey tails with groom in gold waistcoat and tie to match me and the groomsmen in silver waistcoat and purple tie to match the girls. has anyone seen this work before? the waistcoats are all the same pattern.
any ideas on if this will look ok?
