I’ve let about 60% of our guests know (about nine months ago) about the creation of our wedding website. I don’t know how many of them have looked at it.
Should I mention the wedding website in our invite? I mean, they can certainly RSVP there. If I should mention it, where do I write our website link?

i think i’m going to place it near the bottom of the invite…. something like, “for more information on our celebration, please visit our website at wwww.oursite.com”
the closer to the wedding, i bet the more guests will visit your site. 🙂

I have an accomodations card that I included the link to our website. It said something like this:
We recommend that you stay at the following hotel for the wedding weekend
For more information regarding accomodations, travel, and wedding weekend events, please visit

Though I found very few people visited the website. Lots of people called to ask for information that was easily available on the website.

We aren’t mentioning it on the announcement of our marriage, but are including the website on the insert w/accomodations and wording will be like this: “for accomodation information, updates and events, please visit our website: “

We’re including ours on our “Reception Card” insert at the bottom like this.
Travel & Accommodation Information available at
We’re not doing online RSVPs (I want the paper ones for mementos!) but will have a ton of other info there that should prove useful.

I put it at the bottom of our reception card, “For more info visit ……”
I think it’s fine

I would. If you don’t then your guests will probably not visit it. Reminding them that it’s out there might prompt them into visiting it.
For reference, we included our website info by putting “For more information please visit…” on the inside of the gatefold.
