- Wedding: July 2013
First off, I’m not sure this is the right category to put this in, but it’s kind of random topic. It is kind of wedding related, but I need your opinions!
My SO and I will are *most likely* (all signs point to) getting engaged on our hike on 8/8 which means after that I will have about a year to plan a wedding.
I had been volunteering with at-risk youth about 4 months ago in a mentoring program. Unfortunately, I don’t think she was a good fit with the program and it wasn’t the best first experience for me. I think she ended up just leaving the program with no explanation. I had put my name in a while ago to mentor again, but hadn’t heard anything up until today.
I have an opportunity to mentor again! However, with planning a wedding I’m not sure I have the time commitment for it. It’s 2 hours a week for six months. Do you think I ought to take it? It might be a good break from planning. But then again, I want to make sure my SO and I have enough quality time with each other too.
