If I am making menu cards to be placed inside the folded napkin at each seat, do I put cocktail hour hor’dourves / cheese display items on the menu still? They will be sitting down and seeing the menus after cocktail hour, so I’m not sure whether or not to still put that on there. Also, we are having a champagne toast, does that go on the menu normally?

Our venue was so nice in actually providing personalized menus for us. They were also at the dinner table after cocktail hour so our cocktail hour appetizers weren’t on there. It only has the selections between soup and salad, entree selection, and that the dessert is wedding cake/cupcakes. Mine didn’t have anything about the toasts.

I would include only the actual dinner meal – no cocktail hour stuff, no champagne.

I agree with the others, I would just put the meal. Personally I love when there’s a lot of detail, that way there are no surprises.
