We actually finalized our menu tonight! We’ve gone from having a menu set with our venue, to our venue not having a chef anymore and having to find one ourselves, to writing our own menu and our new chef loving it!
Here it is:
Baked Brie with Brown Sugar Glaze
Fresh Fruit Display
Assorted Bruschettas (passed)
Beef Satay with Spicy Peanut Sauce (passed)
Sliders Station (Burger and Crab Cake sliders with assorted toppings)
Peel and Eat Shrimp
Mashed Potato Martini Bar
Kiddie Station (Macaroni and Cheese and Chicken Fingers)
Mini Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup Shooters (passed)
French Fry Shooters (passed)
Wild Mushroom Risotto on spoons (passed)
Cupcakes (5 flavors…Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Mousse filling, Coconut Cake with Key Lime Mousse Filling, Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Mousse Filling, Hazelnut Cake with Dulce de Leche filling and mini Coconut Cupcakes with Chocolate icing)
Candy/Dessert Buffet (also acting as the favor)
It turned out to be mostly comfort foods, which I actually love! These are all the foods FI and I love and they are foods that our guests won’t be afraid to eat!
