Weddingbee boards

I am the process of designing the menus for our rehearsal dinner, and I am newbie at the DIY make and print your own stationery thing. I need help in 1) deciding on what is the best paper to print these puppies on and 2) should I do it myself on our home printer (which is a canon and so far I am quite pleased with it).

I am thinking about getting 80# Cover Cardstock from bluedotpapershop.com in either parchment natural  (http://www.bluedotpapershop.com/item.php?itemid=347&papertypeid=4&theswitch=2)  or line natural (http://www.bluedotpapershop.com/item.php?itemid=809&papertypeid=15&theswitch=2).

 I am open to all any suggestions and also would appreciate any feedback in terms of overall design. Like I said I am a newbie.
