- Wedding: November 2012
We are having second thoughts on our wedding menu. Our wedding isn’t until November but I started thinking about it and I don’t know what we were thinking originally!! We do not want do a buffet option so we are doing a plated meal since the wedding is a little more formal. We decided to go against giving a meal option to our guest since it can be rather complicated and our caterer did suggest we would be better off choosing one meal. We did a culinary tasting and the food was so good we chose the following menu:
-Rainbow of spring greens salad
-Tenderloin of beef topped with a madeira wine demi sauce
-Cream cheese-chive whipped potatoes
I started thinking about it and I feel that is such a heavy meal and we only only chose that to please people who wanted chicken or beef. It is almost like having two completely different meals on one plate!! So Fiance and I feel that maybe we should choose either one meal or the other… so either…
Chicken Piccata with Parmesean Angel Hair Pasta and Julienne Vegetables
Tenderloin of Beef topped with Madeira Demi Wine Sauce, Grilled Shrimp, Cream Cheese Chive Whipped Potatoes, and Julliene Vegetables.
What do you bees think??
