Hi ...I need help. I'm getting married in a couple of weeks and I want to put my menu inside a tuxedo fold napkin and place an orchid on top. I'm not too familiar with tuxedo fold napkins so I'm not sure about the dimensions of the menu. Can someone help? Any ideas! Thanks everyone
I decided last-minute to do menu cards inside a tuxedo-fold napkin. I went to Staples and bought 4x6 laserjet cards. You can find them in the specialty stationary section and they have a few options that look wedding-appropriate.
The printed very easily, looked great, and fit perfectly in the napkins.
This will be the least helpful post ever, but I just wanted to say that I love the look of the napkin, menu, orchid thing. We're planning on doing that. I didn't know it was called a tuxedo fold napkin, so I've learned something new. Thanks!
As far as the orchid, what do people do with it after they unfold their napkin. I guess they just toss it on the table? That kinda bums me out, as orchid are so pretty and so not cheap. I wonder if there is another flower that would work for a poolside reception that is a bit cheaper?
I'm putting rosemary springs on top of my menu that is tucked inside the napkin.... mine is more of a garden party versus a pool side wedding, but what about a spider mum (might be to big) or some jasmine?
KateMW- ever thought of using gerber daisies or regular white daisies. What about leaving a note on the menu card asking your guest to make a wish and to throw them in the pool...it will just add to the visual effect. Just a thought,
