@Tphan:  That is a beautiful dress! If you love it, I think it’s definitely the one and you should get it! 🙂

@Tphan:  that’s such a beautiful dress!!! FI and I are doing a destination wedding on a beach in Thailand and it’ll be hot, but I’m still going to wear a lace mermaid with a semi-cathedral length train. You’re only going to be a bride once so follow your heart! 🙂

I am doing a lace mermaid in an outdoor garden wedding on a tropical island. I think lace is casual enough and the mermaid fit makes it fanciful. A perfect combination for an outdoor ceremony.

I think brides usually with their favorite dress and don’t try to tone it down for the ceremony, at least from what I’m seeing.  I’ve been trying to find a really casual dress for the beach and the boutiques keep bringing me standard wedding dresses and showing me what other people with outdoor/beach weddings are doing and it seems the same as an indoor wedding.  If you found what makes you feel special go with it!!

@Tphan:  I’ll be an Allure 9018 bride in October! And we’re also having an outdoor ceremony with lots of pictures throughout the golf course (we’re getting married at a country club), so I’ll be trudging my dress along concrete, grass, dirt, possibly sand, you name it. I’m not particularly concerned, the bottom of all wedding dresses end up dirty by nights end anyway… It’s such a gorgeous dress, I say go for it!!!  🙂

@Tphan: If you love it then you should get it. Allure dresses are one of my favourite designers.
