I need to go to the bank to make a deposit, then probably to Macy's for a last minute gift, then to Fred Meyer to pick up some party platters and wine for our Christmas eve meal.
Merry Christmas Eve to you all! It's 7pm here in Sydney and we're off to celebrate with our big dinner.. yum! Hope you all have a fab holiday! :)
We're going to have a relaxing morning where we exchange our gifts, then get ready to go stay at my aunt's house for the night. I'm so excited because it will be our first slumber party with my nephews! :) We're going to have a turkey dinner and start prepping for our crab cioppino for lunch the next day...I wait a whole year for that meal, so I'm super excited!
Like every year we will spend christmas eve at my sister's place, who lives a two hour drive away from us. So in a few hours we will either celebrate this day with my family, unwrap presents and enjoy a nice dinner, or we will be stuck in our car somewhere due to an expected upcoming snow storm and black ice.

I get off work at 7am, sleep for a bit, make some cookies, then go to Christmas dinner! Yay!!

I'm going to my aunt and uncle's low country broil tonight. Should be fun, but hopefully not too cold.

Wrapping presents and starting the cooking. I have a few things that can be made today. What i can't figure out is that ... i had the day off ... and yet i CAN"T sleep in.

We're being lazy until it's time to head up to my mom's house.
“Santa” has quite a bit of wrapping to do this morning. Then we’re off to my aunt’s tonight for my family Christmas party. FI is coming for the first time!
I enjoyed reading what all of the Bees are doing today. I plan to go back to sleep for 2-3 more hours (since it's early here), then I plan to spruce up the place a bit, and do some baking. Later, my hubby and I plan to relax and watch some traditional holiday movies as the snowfall comes down. May you all have a very Merry Christmas Eve!!
I just got off of work so I'm going to do some laundry then sit on the couch for a couple hours and maybe nap. Then I have to get up and get ready and packed to head about two hours to our hometown. Tonight we go to his grandparents' house to celebrate with his extended family and then because I worked all night, I'll fall asleep around nine probably after we get back to his parents' house (even if they want to watch a holiday movie, I'll probably fall asleep during it).
We're going to visit one side of my SO's family! I'm very excited!
We're visiting the other side tomorrow! :)
Skyping with his family in England then driving to my parents house where they have super limited internet. So, no WB for a few days :(

Oh, Happy Christmas Eve everyone. I hope everyone finished their christmas shopping.
We are going to be baking cookies today :) mmm cookies.
Also finishing up some general house tidying before any guests descend on us for the celebratory feasting.
Working til 2, then a holiday open house at our friends, then church. After church FI will go home to make homemade rolls and broccolli cheddar soup. We will then watch Home Alone 2 (FI favorite movie ever!!) with some wine and a fire in the fireplace! It's a tradition we started last year and we had such a wonderful time together!

I can not tell you how thankful I am to have stumbled upon this community of fantastic women. (and lets not forgot our few male counterparts)

-Oh I'm making a fantastic dinner tonight. It is DF and I's first Christmas in our new house. We are celebrating tonight just the two of us. I am making filet mignon, asparagus, roasted red potatoes. For desert I am making wedding cookies.
Arrived at my Mum's late morning and there's loads of beautiful snow :)
Had 5 glasses of sherry plus a couple of orange juices to rehydrate me. My best friend popped in, which was lovely to see her and her man and Mum's now making Enchiladas yum yum.
