we're doing silver with sapphire blue for a winter wedding :) i makes me think winter
I'm using gold because my dress is light gold and champagne and I just don't think that silver would go well with my dress.
we are doing cobalt blue and silver.... reminds you of dallas cowboys?? this is why he likes it... i like it becuase it looks like winter.... so we agreed!
Doing the same as you helenberrycrunch. Our colors are black/grey, white/ivory/cream, and gold.
We are using silver(more platinum) , but we are using Ivory and black. I wanted it to be understated, just a slight accent. Like, silver bowls on the table.
Gold - with our red it just looks to elegant (and kind of regal too).
Gold and Ivory because it's classy (not that silver isn't!)
Black, white, and metallic seems to be a big trend for summer 2011!

Most everyone has a metallic in their color scheme. I'm using gold (with black and white) because I find it ... richer? It seems like it has more depth than silver.
