We checked out Paradisus Cancun while we were there the other day. I wan't so taken with it, though it is on a good stretch of beach. Lots of people wandering around the hotel with small plastic drink cups and fairly long lines to get service... Of course it was the beginning of spring break, so that may impact things.
Check out tripadivsor.com for reviews of the hotel. People can also post photos of the resort as well. It's my must go-to website for all my traveling plans.
I went to Secrets Capri in 2007 and LOVED it! I'd go there again in a heartbeat if I wasn't set on going somewhere different for our honeymoon. Please message me directly if you want more details or have any questions. I'd highly recommend it.
My friend went to Secrets Rivera, about 2 weeks ago. She had a great time.
I'm going to Secrets Silversands in April.
