Edit: I should have titled this "Destination" or "beach bride" wedding favors. Mexico is a bit limiting, isn't it?
I would say no on tequila unless you thnk they'll drink it before they leave-- could be challenging to travel with! :)
I think that your idea is great! My family bought several handmade wooden knick knacks in Cancun and our family members still display them! A fun reminder!
Thanks, ladies. I am curious ... what did you spend per person on your favors?

Hey Bees,
If you can believe it, my FI asked me to "talk to the bees" to get some info. I am clearly on this site WAY too much. lol
Anyway, we are getting married in Cabo San Lucas in 2 months (woo!), and are trying to figure out favors. Our initial thoughts were to include local souvenirs in a pretty gift bag — set of hand-painted coasters, a shot glass, little bottle of tequila, plus a small wooden carving that you find all over Cabo that are very popular.
Disclaimer: we are only having about 25 guests max.
What are you Beach Brides doing for your favors and/or OOT bags, and how much do you plan to spend total on each favor/bag?
Any advice you can offer is much appreciated.
Thanks!
