We are getting married on Isla Mujeres....absolutely beautiful there. Cant wait!
I am getting married in Cabo San Lucas on March 16th!! Only 4 and a half months from now. I haven't even looked at dresses yet! What is everyone wearing?

Hey Naiexoxo- what time are you guys getting married at on the beach?
Our wedding will be in San Carlos beach, ceremony in a little church @ 5:30 pm,than will go to a beach club, where everything else will be: court wedding by the beach @ 7, cocktail hour @ 8,reception @ 9 pm. What about yours?

Our ceremony is at 4 on a private beach just sound of PDC, cocktail hour and reception at a villa that we have rented out. I haven't quite figured out if the cocktail hour should start immediately after the ceremony or if we should wait until 5:30 after all of the pictures have been taken with the wedding party. I'm not sure what to do with all of the guests if we wait until 5:30/6 for the cocktail hour to start! Any suggestions?!

I think there is no problem for the guests to wait,there is always delays and the.Ceremony can last 1 hour sometimes,so don't worry,they have to wait.what I think you can do is start the coacktail at 5:30 and it will work just fine.

@SuperKate: Where in Playa Del Carmen are you getting married? Are you going to an all inclusive resort?
@PDCbeachbride: Where is the Villa that you rented? I was in PDC and stayed at an all inclusive, but if renting your own Villa is an affordable option, I'd love to know!

My wedding is still far away but I am a Mexico bride as well! San Miguel de Allende, Mexico! Not the typical beach wedding you think of when you think of Mexico, but as soon as a friend suggested it we fell in love immediately. It is a beautiful old colonial town in Central Mexico. Totally us!
@SerenaSF: Weddings there are so beautiful! Elizabeth Medina shoots there a lot and the photos are just stunning! Good choice.
@meerkat: I LOVE Elizabeth Medina's photography... that is actually how i came across our venue, Hacienda las Trancas. Is she your photographer? i would kill to have her but once we added in her travel fees she was too far out of our price range to justify it.
@SerenaSF: She was one of our top two but we ended up going with Sol Tamargo of Del Sol. I just fell in love with work. 
Elizabeth medina is amazing!!! I loved all her work, but wayyyyyyyyyy out of budget lol. Im jealous of brides that get to use her hehe

The planning has been really easy and I immediately hired a wedding planner once I booked the venue. One of the main reasons I chose Mexico is that there are no wedding"rules" per se ... no time limits, noise ordinance, etc .... you can pay far less and do much more!
I am SO excited!
