- Wedding: September 2014
Ok… so I’ve been engaged for a year now, and I’m totally slacking because I feel completely overwhelmed!
I’m in need of advice from anyone that has (or is) planning a wedding around Miami’s Art Deco district, as I’m hoping to have an art deco/gatsby-ish type wedding.
We will only be having 50 guests maximum (our literal guest count is 37 right now) so I’m looking for a boutique hotel along Collins or Ocean Dr. I know there are quite a few and have received responses on f&b etc from the hotels… My budget as of right now is about $25K, but can go up to about $30K.
BUT I was hoping to have someone who has already been there or will be using any of the following hotels, for some more insight! (I’m currently living in Orlando, but will be moving to South Africa, and will have to plan the wedding from there… Do you understand my stress now? lol)
- The National (This is my top choice at the moment)
- The Betsy (This is my second choice… But according to the info sent to me, a plated dinner is served family-style, which I’m not too keen on, as I was hoping each person to be served individually)
- King & Grove: The Tides (On their info, they mention that the roof top terrace is accessed through the Penthouse Suite, which I wasn’t sure I liked)
- The Bath Club
- The Raleigh (I wasn’t completely sold, when I got their quote back at $22K for a 45 guest count… and that was ONLY for f&b)
ANY information/pictures/advice is immensely appreciated!
