@jdfernan: I have heard about The Palm hosting small wedding events. Expensive varies based on the person, I think it was around $150/ person but there were no site fees.
Sorry, I thought you meant 50 people. $50/ person is rare in Miami. Breakfast cost $50 at the nice hotels! You may need to find a venue that allows you to bring in your own food and then your options are endless. However, there will be a site fee too.

Hello busy bees! I am getting married this December and I need help finding a reception venue. Miami is ridiculously expensive and I am trying to keep it at 50pp or lower. Anybody know of any receptions??
