There aren't too many Columbia/Jeff City brides here. The St. Louis boards are small, too!
My only advice is to stay away from Margo's bridal shop. They aren't very friendly. They've been incredibly rude to us in the 3 times we've been there for a friend's wedding. Even she's annoyed! Margo's very nice but the girls who work for her are really snotty. I ended up taking my dress un-altered b/c I got sick of it and am going to finish it myself.
Where is Margo's bridal?
i'm a huge fan of Victoria's Bridal in JC, its owned by a mother/daughter pair and they are completely dedicated to you when you are there. AND they have a discontinued/clearance rack that is full of some great bargains!
I'm from Columbia, and I got my gown at Victoria's Formalwear in JC also :) Ann is awesome!

Formal Affairs in Sedalia is great! Wonderful service and their selection is pretty good too! :)

I am getting married on August 7 and my little sister is getting married June 12 (yes, funny how that worked out LOL). We are each other's MOH's
I agree about Victoria's bridal, my sis got her gown (and all wedding party attire) there. Ann was great to work with!
KBSquared, we are date twins!! Yea!! Has anyone commented on "oh the weather will be so hot for your wedding" yet??
I feel like I have so much planning to do, in addition to job hunting out of state and possibly moving BEFORE the wedding! It is a good thing that we are keeping the wedding very simple and relaxed!!
@therodgersons: are you moving to missouri or from!? Nobody has said anything about it being too hot, but i am moving things inside quickly.. where as my cousin who is getting married on the same day at the same time (rude, no?!) has had plenty of comments about how hot it will be because she is getting married outside at the river. I feel like i have so much executing to do... lol. i've planned my butt off and now i have to get it all done.
