Hey Bees ♥♡♥
So this is a wierd one…Ive had mixed reactions from my friends but I think I’m pretty set on it….
My surname is hyphenated and I don’t have a middle name. I get married next month and I can’t get my head around how short myname will be, I like having three initials rather than two. So I’m seriously considering giving myself a middle name.
So I am looking for some hive help! It’s odd trying to name yourself!
My new name will be Jenna Frail….Any thoughts on middle names for me?

What about using your mother, grandmother or some other close family members middle name so it’s a bit more special than just making one up? Nothing wrong with choosing one for yourself at all, I just have a biased opinion! I share the same middle name as my mother, and I love that is seems like it’s a connection between us 🙂

I love the idea but they are all really quite dated names and I’m only 26 so I want it to go nicely with my new name…. See what you mean though, I would have loved that 🙂 ♥♡♥

Why not make your 2 maiden names as a middle name/s?

cantwaittobemrsf: Im all for it! Try to find something you can relate to!
Although I personally like Jenna ta-da-da ( three sylable) than Jenna ta-da (2 syllable) or Jenna Ta (1)
Like Jenna E-mi-lia(3) rather than Jenna Li-sa(2) or Jenna Rose(1)
PS I guess 2 syllable also sound nice!

I’m doing the same thing when I get married I’m adding a middle name (cos I’ve never had one) which was my great grandmother middle name ‘May’ as she passed away last year.

Make at least one of your hyphenated last names into a middle name. My FI has 2 last names, one of which is his moms maiden name, so I don’t think that’s odd.

cantwaittobemrsf: I would use your maiden name, my cousin has her dad’s last name as a middle name & her mothers as her last as they weren’t married when she was born x

cantwaittobemrsf: I was given a middle name and a single last name, so when I got married I kept my middle name and made my given last name a middle name to so that I now have two middle names. Why not do that with your current last names? It’s like that on my driver’s license and ss card and I include the initials when I sign my name. Ex: Sara K. R. Lane

SunshineSmiles: I agree.
I think that would be more sentimental than just picking a middle name.
That being said middle names, or first names for that matter do not have to be sentimental. Neither of my names have any meaning haha. My mom just liked the way it sounded.

I forgot to add on the sound pretty middle names to my last post, whoops! Here are some pretty names I like:
– Jenna Nicole Frail
– Jenna Joy Frail (I like the double J- it’s spunky!)
– Jenna Beth Frail

My first thought was Jenna Louise so that will be my suggestion. Jenna Christine, maybe.
I like the idea of giving yourself a new middle name. I’ve always loved mine and couldn’t imagine not having it.
