We are TTC actively in January and we have fallen in love with a girl name. Kathryn! The only problem is, we want the middle name to begin with A. Why? FH’s last name begins with a T, and since a plausible nickname for Kathryn is “Kat”, we’d like her initals to also be KAT. I think it’s adorable, but I don’t like many of the A names for girls! I don’t like Ann or Annie (or any version with “ann” in it, such as Analise or Annabelle, etc.)
Do you have any suggestions?
(We actually had a different name picked out before we MC’ed, Stella Grace, but I can’t bring myself to use that name if we do get pregnant again).
We’re hoping for a girl, even though it’s total chance and there’s a 50/50 shot either way, but I really want to have names picked out ahead of time because I don’t want to stress later on! 🙂

Ariel? That’s my middle name, after the archangel. (Mine is pronounced ‘ar-ee-el’, not like the little mermaid.)

Ava? I think it sounds great with Kathryn.

Alice, Abigail (my favorite), Adalyn, Adele, Aleah, Alexandrea, Alisa.

@Baimee: I really like Ariel!
@Sea_bass: Amanda’s a little too common, but it does sound nice.
@Almost Mrs.P: Alice was my first choice, but FH doesn’t like it.
@LissaBeans: Ava does sound good, and it wouldn’t be too many syllables with the middle and last names.

I really like Amelia out of all of these options, and also Ava. I think Amelia has more “flow” though.

@AcheneMalefic: I like it a lot too. I’ve only met one other person with the same middle name, and one person with it as a first name, which is kind of cool.
FWIW Kathryn and other spellings of the name (with a K!) is one of my favorites.

@CaliHoya: You’re right. Amelia does “flow” better with Kathryn and it sounds really good with our last name.
@Birdee106: I like Abigail, but FH doesn’t. 😛
