Wow, I was only kidding with Thor. I kind of thought I'd come back and see that you had received some actual good suggestions!
Really, I like Michael for the middle name. Grayson Michael Somethingley sounds nice.
For what it's worth, I actually think "Greyson Michael" is perfect- because Greyson is a little unusual and Michael balances it with a more traditional feel. Also, I've always wished that my middle names meant more than just sounding nice with my first name. I would have loved to have been named after someone who matters to my parents!
I was named after a TV actress and some lady down the street. I found out that I could have been an Emma (my great g-mas name) and would have loved that. I think that having the middle name mean something is lovely. Then you can honor your second brother with your second born. And if you have more, you can start with dads/gpas/uncles.
Greyson Michael sounds great together and has meaning to you and your brother.
I LOVE that name! I had it picked out too but my SO said NO WAY! I had the middle name Cooper picked out and that sounds like it could go perfectly! Greyson Cooper Somethingly!
Or there is
Lane
Ryan
Colton
@Bubu82: BF's best friend would sooooo name his kid Thor. We have also suggested lightning.
Something with two syllables really sounds good to me...
Grayson Matthew Somethingley
Grayson Barret
Grayson Carter
Grayson Bradley
Grayson Harley (heh you said not ordinary right?)
Thanks guys! You've given such great names! If I choose to go with that name, assuming we have a boy, It'll be easier to figure out now.
@Bubu82- sorry! Didn't mean to ignore ya! We had some horrible snow so I was able to leave the office early... so as to nap the day away. The funny thing about Thor is that my husband would love that! I think it's a comic book character and he loves them, silly guy :)
@MrsMcKaytoBE- I really like those suggestions too. Especially Lane. So pretty! Why didn't your husband like it??
@HoneyBear- I can't do Harley because we have a pet by that name! Hahaha, that'd be confusing. But hey, it's a cool kid name.
He's just a stubborn old fart ;) He doesn't like anything....it takes me forever just to get him to agree on a side dish for dinner...lol!
I just wanted to say I really like the name Greyson! I like Greyson Ray or something shorter because Greyson is a longer name.
Just throwing this out there - what about other family names? Do you have any you like? I also like having family names for middle names. (Everyone in my family does, and my kids will too.)
I do like Greyson Michael. I've always seen it spelled Grayson. I also went to HS/College with a Graylon. For some reason, it worked. lol.
I love the name Greyson :)
What about:
Greyson Mitchell
Greyson Myles
Greyson Paul
Greyson Cole

This is more or less just for fun, since we don't know what we're having yet. But my husband is convinced that it's a boy (for no particular reason... which will probably mean it'll be a girl!). And if it's a boy, he's also under the impression that he gets to name him. Ok, we'll see buddy. Anyway, the name he really likes is Greyson (not sure of the spelling). I'm trying to consider it, but now I'm fixated on what the middle name should be. I'd like to use Michael because it's my bro's name. But then I have other brothers, one that I'm just as close to that might be offended (although I could easily incorporate his name into our second born's name, it's not gender specific).
I'm rambling, the point of this post is to ask what a nice middle name would be for Greyson. I was hoping it could be something that strays a lil from traditional names (like Michael lol).
Oh, forgot to add that our last name is a pretty generic one. It starts with an S and ends in with ley. So when my husband suggested Anthony, I was like, "Nope, cuz his initials would be GAS" lol.
Thanks for playing :)
