@jules28:  I would use something that starts with a consonant, though I don’t love Catherine. Maybe something shorter. Elise Marie?

I would go with something other than Isabelle, only because both “Elise” and “Isabelle” are derivations of “Elizabeth” – so, in a way, you would be giving two versions of the same name.

I think Elise Alexandra rolls off the tongue rather nicely. 🙂

I was always a fan of short and sweet middle names, maybe something like Mae or Ann?

@LovelyLee:  +1, I prefer short middle names too. Mine is god awful.

@jules28:  I’m so jealous your name is Elise!  That was my top choice but DH hates it – he’s coming around to it for a middle name though! I hope he goes for it because I am already dead set on it for our middle name haha!

I think I like Catherine the best out of the 3.

@jules28:  I voted for Catherine but to be honest it is the only one I really like. I have never been much of an Alexandra/Alezander fan.

My favorite of the three is Catherine but I’m not sure it flows that well with Elise (Catherine Elise sounds good but Elise Catherine, not so much). So I voted for Alexandra! 🙂

I like all those names, but don’t think any of them flow with Elise.  Especially with a 3-syllable last name, I would choose a short middle name.  Elise Joy?  Elise Paige?  Elise Rae?  Elise Dawn?

@sailor:  I agree with your statement and your suggestions. I’d also add in Elise Rayn, Elise Taylor, and Elise Noel.

Or if you prefer a longer middle name, I’d suggest something like Marguerite, Bianca, or Parker/Harper.

    Good luck!!

I think if you have a long last name, it would be best to keep the first and middle short.

However, I don’t have any ideas for short middles lol.

    I love Elise Catherine!

Catherine is also the princesses name and i think that would be a beautiful name to have!

@jules28:  I agree with other posters that a middle name with only one or two syllables would flow better since the last name is kind of long at three syllables.
