does anyone happen to have a picture that they are sure is a round table ovelay on an 8ft rectangle table? not a white tablecloth, but a color overlay? Im curious what it looks like if a round overlay is draped over a rectagle table.

@BeeG35: This is not a real pic, it is a diagram off a party company website.
This is what a 90″ round overlay would look like on a 6 foot banquet table.
For an 8′ banquet table, it would depend on the size of the overlay. If you used a 90″ round overlay it would be short of the end of the table by 3″ on each end of the top of the table.
It would fall in a half circle to just skim the floor in the center of the table.
If you used a larger overlay, it would reach or hang over the ends of the table on the top, but it would also puddle on the floor in the center of the sides of the table.

@julies1949: oooh thank u for the diagram. That is exactly what I was hopng to find out about. I’m not sure how large the overlays will be from the venue we booked. Its a destination so we will rent from the villa, tho I do know the tables r 60 inch diameter. Surely they r 90 inch overlays. Hmm. I was wanting rectangle tables but it might not look good with round overlays.
