aw i'm definately a maggie fan and you are just glowing in this gown!! congrats on losing weight girl, and the corset is going to do you wonders as far as alterations go and if your weight does fluctuate as you get closer to your wedding. you look great in it!
Thank you girls!! Now a question - Since I'm doing more dress shopping this weekend, do you think I'll KNOW if this is it?? I keep looking back and going awww I love it.. so I guess unless I find a dress that makes me feel even better, I'll know, right?! I wish I could buy 10.. haha!
haha i could so buy 10 also!! yes i think you'll know, bring the pic w/you since shopping can get overwhelming, refer back to it if you need to compare. remember something a bridal consultant told me "every gown in this store is gorgeous, i rarely see an "ugly" gown. so you just have to find the gown thats perfect for/on YOU" go w/whatever makes you feel happiest inside. good luck, so excited for you!!
OOOh I think it looks great and the price is AWESOME!!! You know what else is awesome? YOU! way to go on the weightloss!
Beautiful dress, great price! And fantastic job losing all that weight!
No wonder I love weddingbee, you girls are so awesome!!! I'm finding lately that I have bride brain too but a lot of people at work could care less so thank heavens there's a place to get it all out! hehe :) Great tips too and thanks for all the encouragement!!
You look amazing! You are positively glowing :) I absolutely love the neckline and through the waist. I'm not so crazy about the tiers in the skirt because they make slices rather than a more cohesive look... but more than likely that's just my personal sense of style because you are rockin' and glowing in that dress!
thanks ladies!! It is so much fun, I hope I have good luck this weekend at DB and Alfred Angelo.. if not, Pia is it!!
@MrsDg - That's so funny because I kind of think the same thing about the tiers. They're pretty and remind me of a layered cupcake but they are a slight downside imo, but at least it's visually interesting, hehe!
Well, I love the rest of it, so... Unless you thought you could find something very similar without the tiers, it seems like this might be the one :)

My mom finally e-mailed me pictures - I am doing more dress shopping this weekend, but this was the second dress I tried on and I couldn't believe how flattering it was and how beautiful the detailing was. It was comfy, too!! I think they quoted us a price for $650. I'm also losing weight (23 down so far, woohoo!) so the corset style is appealing for me as it may mean less in alterations. I'm hitting up Alfred Angelo and David's Bridal this weekend, do you have any tips or suggestions? If I find other possible "the ones" then I will post them here! Thanks girls!!
PS I think one reason I'm so excited is that I'm plus-sized and was dreading dress shopping. I didn't think anything would fit me.. so to fit into a designer gown was amazing!!
