Hi girls! I just bought my dress from Mika Inatome! She is sooo friendly and helpful and knowledgable! She does all the alterations, embroidary and beading by hand herself.

I am soooo giddy, I just had to share it with you guys!

If anyone is looking for a non-poofy, modern dress, definately take a look at Mika's collection. I also heard her shoe collection is super comfortable without the need for foot petals.

Has anyone else bought your dress from her? How was your experience?

I met Mika through the wedding world and have now become friends with her.  She is the sweetest person ever and her dresses are beautiful and reasonably priced.  I highly recommend her!

I believe her dresses start $3,000, though I bought a sample dress from her and received 50% off.

i think they start a little lower than that - i believe some may be under or around $2000.

I know this is an old thread... but hey, bump! I got mine through her too, and I keep running back to my room to stare at it! It's gorgeous! I've never seen anything like it-- it's got an asymetrical flower pattern; the flowers are mostly cutouts with champagne satin underlay-- so that they're a different color than the dress. Then a couple of the flowers stick up. And no poof! Love it!

Plus she's super-friendly and super-helpful; she sent me fabric samples for my dress so that I could carry them shoe shopping with me to get good matches.
