That sucks. Sounds like you did the right thing by offering early on. If she changed her mind than that’s her thing – thats where this problem is stemming from. It is very gracious of your fiance to step in and offer to speak with her. Hopefully that will help out a lot. I realize that $400 is a lot of money, but if you guys otherwise have a good relationship, it might be worth it to just suck it up and pay that extra $400 to include MIL and FSIL even though the mistake wasn’t your fault. If she’s hurt and still refuses, I think the best you can do is apologize, offer to include them – and then let it go. She has to do her part too in order for this issue to be resolved.

I would probably just pay the money even though it’s not your fault. She changed her mind, but if she is helping you guys out with other parts of your wedding then I would just pay it.

it sucks but you have your whole life with her and you don’t want to hear “remember when you forgot about my hair” for the next 20 years…
