I'm sure he can wear whatever color he wants! You might want to have the groomsmen in navy instead of black so they don't clash with him.
Nothing is better than a Marine if full dress blues with the white pants.
yeah i agree.... white pants will be fine, he is militay, he doesnt have to match everything perfectly and not suppose to....his dress blues will hold their own. the uniform shows honor...my fi is wearing his too, and he wont match everthing...also, it will be fall and he will be in his white pants. its understodd that uniforms wont totally cordiante with colors of wedding.
Yup, I agree with the post above me. Let your man stand out in his uniform. My husband wore his mess dress (blue in AF), which technically clashed with the black of the other guy's tuxes. BUT! He stood out and it was fantastic! I contemplated having the guys wear blue/navy tuxes and I'm so happy I didn't follow through with that idea.
Let the uniform speak for itself :)
My FI is also an Officer in the Marines. He told me he is only allowed to wear his whites between Memorial and Labor Day. Our wedding is Labor Day weekend next year, so he'll be in his whites :) BUT I think he said that he would have to ask for clearance to wear his whites if I wanted him to and our date was outside of the Memorial/Labor day time frame.
My brother is a Marine officer as well and wore the white pants to his March wedding. He didn't have to get permission.

my wedding is in the fall and my groom, who is an officer in the marines, wants to wear the white pants with his uniform. Are the white pants only for summer or would the blue pants also be correct? I am concerned about all the colors, i.e. tuxedos, bridesmaids gowns, ettc.
