Hi everyone, my fiance and I were planning a navy military wedding but it turns out that he will be honorably discharged a few months before the wedding. Therefore, I have a few questions.
1) Would he still be allowed to wear his navy dress uniform since he is honorably discharged?
2) Would it be tacky for him to wear it since he is no longer actually in the military?
3) Is the sword arch only for active military?
I was able to find that members of the army who were honorably discharged can wear their uniforms to weddings, but nothing about Navy officers.
Thanks for your help!
