It's very pretty! I like how it sits up high. I also have a cathedral setting, but with a plain band. I love it and don't see it too often actually.
Mine is a "plain" cathedral setting as well! OP - your set is beautiful! I'm not a big fan of Tiffany settings. FI and I decided on this particular mount because of the way the sides hug the head - less space for me to get crap in. I wear my ring ALL the time, and we wanted something that was going to stay clean and keep the diamond safe.
Your rings are all beautiful! It's so nice to see some other bees with cathedral settings! I have one, too, but with super-long tapered baguettes on the sides. I have a half eternity wedding band and a very thin half eternity anniversary band that I wear on the other side of my e-ring. My cathedral-mounted e-ring is shown below, standing up in my scarf:
@MademoiselleL: I think my setting is exactly like yours except I have a sapphire. Are you getting a plain wedding band or are you going a different route? I can't decide!

When I first got engaged to my now husband of 7 years I was given a .75 white gold diamond set in a simple band...
A few months after that, we upgraded to a 1.3 Carat diamond and kept thesame simple white gold band.
Then, right after we got married, we got the Cathedral-diamond setting, which was nice because I didn't have to wear too many rings...so, that was like having two rings in one.
Then, for our 5th Wedding anniversary, he got me an eternity band to go with my ring, which I still wear sometimes, especially when I don't want to wear my big rock.
A few weeks ago he upgraded my diamond to 2.3 Carats...and I'm thrilled!
I wear my "new" ring with two 2mm. white gold bands instead of the eternity band...like the photo on the bottom.
I am however, considering getting a different setting in which the diamond sits lower because I do bang up against stuff all the time. I do like the diamonds on the sides...but I may get a different style...
I have always had a six-prong platinum setting! It's a must!! I have no concern about my diamond getting loose...I sleep, shower, do everything with my ring on, I rarely take it off!
I do clean it myself too.
