Do you think it would be strange to hold a small rose bouquet in engagement photos? I’m looking for an opportunity to do a small scale test run of DIY flowers, and I thought this would be a nice ay for them not to go to waste.
But I’ve never heard of this being done, and am afraid it might seem strange!! On the other hand, my FI has frequently given me roses over the year, they’d be a light spring-y colour (pink or white), and I wouldn’t have to use them in all the photos…

Not weird at all! I’m planning on doing something similar — just a quick and easy bouquet of flowers I’ll pick up that day. It will be a nice prop for pictures! I’m, personally, going to get different flowers than what we plan on using on our wedding day, but that’s just because I like variety! I think a sentimental flower choice (and a good use of a DIY trial) is a great idea for e-pics.

Thanks! I also like the idea of trying out a different type of flower. Perhaps I’ll wait and see if anything nice is in bloom in my parents garden, and use that if it will work! Maybe not a full ‘flower trial’, but at least it would help me get used to working with some flowers!
Glad to hear I’m not alone in doing this!

Very cute idea! especially because it’ll give you practice 🙂

I like the idea of something simple and casual, like a bunch of daisies tied with a pretty ribbon. Have fun!
