You're after my heart mcdougal! I keep teasing FI that all we'll be eating will be sweet potato fries...I'd say something with puff pastry either as dessert or for a finger food, and chicken fingers. Then add in some veggies, depending on how healthy you want it to be you could tempura fry some of the veggies.
I just saw a picture somewhere, maybe in the Knot, that had grilled cheese sandwich halves with tomato soup on the bottom--it was in some kind of glass. Macaroni & cheese? Cheesy bread? I LOVE fries too and trying to bring them into wedding, but our caterer says they're too difficult to keep hot since we're having lots of people. :(

-Milkshakes
-Milk & cookies/milk & mini brownies
i LOVE mac and cheese in mini martini glasses! mmmm...how about mini pizzas (everyone loves those!)
@wedding710 ask if you can use heat lamps to keep them warm because that's what you'd normally do. Unless you're not having a buffet.
Um, YUMMY! I'm so jealous I totally want to be a guest at your wedding :) Things like potato and macaroni salad are always yummy and you don't have to worry about keeping them warm.
Maybe fried mushrooms or some grilled squash and zuchinni on skewers. Love the idea!! Sounds so yummy!! I love sweet potato fries!

My wedding is going to be casual and laid back, and I am interested in doing a slider/fries in a cone scheme for the food at the reception. What are some other dishes that would pair well with this? It will be a buffet style service, mainly finger foods. Any ideas are welcome! Thanks Bees!
