I’ll post full recaps when I get the time (and energy) but we just got our pro pics back and I had to share some of my favs.
Enjoy…
ETA: I’m at work posting these so don’t mind the screwy order.
My absolute fav! This will be blown up, framed and hung in our living room.

I got DH iPhone cufflinks as his wedding day gift. For those who don't know, DH is a Mac/iPhone/iPad developer and obsessed with all thinks Apple. He totally loved 'em!

My moms wedding gift to me. My grandmother gave her this ring on her wedding day so my mom had it dipped in white gold (it was yellow gold originally) and resized for me. It was my something old and blue since it's aquamarine which is both of our birth stones...

The view was amazing. It was 65 and sunny on our wedding day. Hardly any foliage but I'll take the spectacular weather that we had over a crappy day with tons of foliage any day.

I was worried about looking gross during our kiss but I actually kinda love the picture.
My cousin was ordained to marry us and it was probably one of my favorite parts of our whole wedding. There's nothing like being married by someone who knows and loves you. The alternative was picking someone out of the phone book and that just seemed really impersonal to me. My cousin got chocked up a few times but it just added to the whole thing. If it's legal where you're from and you have someone in mind, do it! You won't regret it.

Our BP looked incredible. Goes to show that you can still have a formal wedding with the girls wearing different dresses.

I didn’t actually end up wearing these for our wedding which really disappointed me. My mom had trouble corseting my dress as tight as it needed to be so my dress was a little too long for them. I ended up having to wear ivory flats that I hated but you couldn’t see the shoes anyway so it really didn’t matter. I’ve made up for it by wearing the rosettes probably 20 times since. Actually, I’m wearing them right now!

I love this picture. I felt like a huge marshmellow when it was being taken but it came out really nice.

The cake was to die for. We had tons of guests tell us that it was not only the best wedding cake that they've had but also the best cake in general. It was chocolate and vanilla with canoli filling. Didn't look to shabby either! :)

Yep, we cake smashed! By that point I didn't really care anymore so we had fun with it. Neither of us had much damage done.

Instead of a traditional centerpiece, we did a mini candy buffet for the kids table. I knew my cousins couldn't give a shit about flowers and candles but that they would love as much candy as they can eat. I think every adult in the room made atleast one stop at their table at some point during the night. It was huge hit!

Our floral centerpieces were white craft pumpkins (real pumpkins were too messy) with large fall arrangements in them. We used our local grocery store florist and they did an incredible job. Notice the Super Mario table numbers. I made about half of those characters pixel by pixel.

Our late night snack was apple cider donuts with mini milk cartons. Another huge hit. We ordered way more donuts than we needed so the venue staff got to snack on those for a few days.

LOVE IT!!! Every one looks amazing, and I just can't get over all the details :)
Wow, your wedding looked amazing!!! That first photo is just so beautiful! And what a sentimental gift from your mom. Congratulations!!!
So perfect! I loved your centerpieces and your shoes. Lovely pictures and congrats to you and the hubs.
Where did you order the donuts from? I love the idea!
@MrsSl82be: There are A LOT more details than just that. This is just the tip of the iceberg! lol
@Nicoley1985: I absolutely love the ring. I've worn it everyday since. I'm really nervous about the stone though. It's big and tends to get caught on everything. I would feel terrible if I ever lost it but I just love it too much.
@Mrs.ChubbyBunny & @shalynnmarie: Thanks!!
@Future MrsB: The donuts were from Lakeside Farms in Ballston Lake. My personal favs are from Hicks in Fort Ann but I wasn't about to make that drive the morning of our wedding.
Congratulations, everything looks so fun and beautiful. I love the table number, what a great personal touch. I absolutely adore your shoes, where did you get them?
@Roxitink: Thanks! DH is a major Super Mario fan so that was totally for him. I had a hard time coming to terms with the fact that they didn't even remotely match our theme but in the end I absolutely loved them and so did all of our guests (who knew what they were).
The shoes are Chinese Laundry. I got mine from Dillards but I think they're sold elsewhere as well.
OMG absolutely GORGEOUS. all the details. The color, the flowers....you did a really great job. You looked gorgeous! Congratulations!
CM, I love love love all of your details! Congratulations--you were an absolutely beautiful bride!
OMG! I love all your geeky touches! They totally make it personal and awesome!
You just looked so beautiful, that dress is gorgeous. Those shoes are fabulous! It's a shame you didn't get to wear them, but I'm SURE you're going to wear them lots in the future to make up for it!
I love the picture of the two of you kissing, so cute.
Congrats date twin!
Wow, your wedding looked amazing! I really want a piece of that cake & some of the candy, lol!
Kick Ass!
You looked beautiful and I love all the colours and fallness.
Congrats!
Beautiful wedding pics and beautiful fall color choices. My DH wore a chocolate brown suit too!
Thank you so much everyone! I would die to be able to get it onto a blog so I hope I have a shot.
I seriously look at the pictures like 10 times a day and smile like a moron the whole time. I am so happy with how things turned out. There were a few hiccups but I didn't let them bother me (much).
It seems I may be getting some business out of my wedding, too. My MOH has two friends who are getting married and they're interested in having me help plan their weddings!
you looked so georgous!! congrats hun and your cake looks delicious!
@missmarchmommy: It was! We couldn't wait to eat the top layer so we used it as my MILs birthday cake 2 days after our wedding. It was delish!
All of the details are amazing!! Love the personal geeky touches like the table numbers and his cufflinks :-D (where did you get those, btw?!) and you looked beautiful!!
@UpstateCait: The cake looks fabulous! I love that it's not a traditional looking wedding cake. You look great in your dress! I can relate on the issues with lacing, my MOH and BM didn't get mine laced correctly either. Great details! Congrats! :)
I love your centerpiece and the views from your ceremony spot. I also love the flowers and pumpkins lining the aisle.
As a Nintendo-wedding bride, I can't help but be jealous of your table numbers! Awesome!
Oh my goodness....love love love love!!! I want your centperoices, flowers, hair, dress, colours, table numbers EVERYTHING!! I tlooked so perfect! Congrats!
