Weddingbee boards

So I've gotten a fair number of guest photos back I figured I might as well post a "mini-recap" while waiting for the pro photos to come back. I really hope I don't bore you with all the photos!

So the day started out grey and threatening to rain. DH and I had decided that barring pouring rain, we would be having the ceremony outside. My BMs and I got dressed at the hotel and headed over to the ceremony site.

My dad walked me down the aisle:

Then came the surprise of my life. The dancing was going strong and then all of a sudden DH goes up to the DJ and takes the mic. He said something like, "The weather is getting worse, so this was supposed to be later in the night, but I'd like everyone to come outside as I have a surprise for my new wife."

We all went outside and waiting for about 2 min, then all of a sudden... Fireworks!

I should have pro pics by end of this week/early next week. Hopefully you don't get tired of them!

@hilsy85: Thanks. The colors in the tent were much more vibrant, so I hope that the pro pics show that.

@Gabrielle123: Thanks! That's why we wanted to be outside rain or shine. That site is SO pretty.

@bRooklynRocks: London is good so far. Weird doing nothing while DH is as work, but it's fun to have dinner ready for him when he gets home every night.

We are toying with the idea of going to Paris for the weekend. I *love* that we can decide last minute to hop on a train to Paris...

ETA: I was SO surprised by the fireworks. I LOVE fireworks. He said that whenever he asked me what I wanted for a wedding present, I said "fireworks". I never expected him to actually do it and was mostly joking when I said it. But DH really went all out and surprised me, and the guests loved the show too.

Thank you! It was a fantastic party. So many people told us it was the "best wedding they've ever been to" but I think they were just being nice.

@cameronwedding: It was the best surprise ever. DH is not one for large romantic gestures at all. But this one gesture sure makes up for it. I was just stunned and so happy.
