FH and I are officially getting married in a civil ceremony the day before our “big wedding” as the date is special to us but we weren’t into having our “big wedding” on a weekday. We’ll be having a more personalized/quasi religious ceremony and full on reception the following day. We’re inviting our immediate families and a couple of very close friends (bridal party) to our city hall wedding, and we’re planning on taking everyone out for an intimate lunch afterwards. Technically this will be both a mini-reception and a rehearsal dinner all rolled into one.
So…we’re trying to figure out the wording for our invitation for the luncheon…. I don’t want to define it as either a reception or a rehearsal…
Here’s what I’ve come up with so far:
Please join us for a luncheon honoring
