I've been taking an aerobics class where we do aerobics on mini-trampolines. It's called "urban rebounding" and it ROCKS MY WORLD. I wish I could get myself a mini-trampoline, but.... manhattan apartment.
I have actually been recommending this to a lot of people, although I have yet to try it. I wanted to buy one this weekend. It really is a great way to lose weight. Just be careful with your kids or really old people as you don't want them hurting themselves if they get on it.

I have to sing the praises of my newest piece of fitness equipment- a mini trampoline. I didn't think that just bouncing up and down would do much for me, but I heard great things about it, got recommendations from friends, and bought one at Walmart. Yea. I was wrong. Try running in place or doing jumping jacks- it's great cardio, toning, and balance at once. I've gotten into a routine, so now when I watch tv, I jump on the trampoline during the commercials. Watch an hour of tv and you do 20 minutes of cardio! So, anyway, I just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone was looking for an interesting, different alternative to running or biking or DVD workouts.
Let me know if you decide to do this, and if it's working for you!
