Maybe it’s their way of showing they can’t (or don’t want to) help  without actually saying it.  I won’t lie, I could imagine myself saying that if I really didn’t have anything helpful to add.

@Kewii:  I agree, I think it’s her nice way of saying she wants to have her friend back. I would spend some non-wedding time with her, THEN ask her for some more ideas/help.

There’s nothing with having a non-tradtional wedding.

Not all weddings have to be in a church, the bride wearing a white dress, having classical or poppy music playing at the reception, or driving off in a limo when it’s all over.

It’s not a “questionable taste” that’s like me frowing upon my friend’s decision to have a camo wedding dress and a Duck Dynasty themed wedding.
