Well, I told my makeup artist to go as natural as possible, which resulted in using all kinds of makeup you can think of, but in natural form, if that makes sense?  I was told by my mother and DH that they wanted to know who I was. 😛

@pengoala:  Haha, that’s what I did as well. I bought nicer makeup than I’ve ever owned (and it was only Sephora, I just never wear daily makeup), and I applied it full coverage, but it was all neutral tones. The great foundation covered all of my red marks or unevenness without masking me, and then I just used a light blush, neutral eye colors, brown liner, etc. I looked like a ‘cleaned up’ version of me, but nothing dramatic or fancy. I like that I photographed natural-looking without having to deal with my natural unevenness or blotches.

OP- If you want to go natural, do it! I have had quite a few friends do this and they were all lovely and comfortable in their skin. I’m might have been more comfortable with makeup than they were from cheer and dance, and I wear it for formal occasions. But if it’s not your thing, go naked 😉

I’ll be wearing the basics, but no eyeshadow and nothing overpowering. I’m having an outdoor brunch wedding, so i want to look fresh and natural!

I’ll be wearing a fair amount, but not a lot more/different than usual. I usually wear dark-ish eye makeup is all.

I don’t want to wear too much, just because I touch my face way too much and I am wearing a white dress and all lol, I just don’t want make up stains on my dress. So I will be wearing mascara, eyeliner, a little eyeshadow, lipstick, and some lip gloss. If I feel daring I may wear a very small amount of blush.

My mom’s one big regret about her wedding day was how they overdid her make-up. So I definitely wanted to avoid not looking like myself as well. I went to MAC, had someone show me how I could add a teeny bit of color to my lips and some natural-looking eye sahdow and mascara to make my eye stand out a bit more for photos. Ended up doing it myself on wedding day from what the MAC artist taught me. The photos came out great. But most importantly, I still looked like myself!
