Has anyone else had problems with their J Crew order? They’ve botched up my order so badly that I don’t think I’ll ever shop there again. Has anyone dealt with them before?
I ordered three dresses back in December, and one is shipped, but missing, one has been cancelled by J. Crew, and one which was meant to be exchanged for a smaller size has instead been labelled “returned” and I have no idea if we’ll ever get it.
When I ordered them, there was an estimated ship date of February 14th. Cool, no problem wedding’s not until summer. But then they started sending the emails. Apparently, when they ask you to call them, they mean within 24 hours, otherwise they’ll cancel your order. Also, they’re not very good at locating items that have been sent back, or distinguishing between a return and an exchange.
So status on the dresses is that all three are missing – at what point should I just give up and ask for all my money back? Has anyone else found a good method of dealing with J Crew? I talked to one of their “wedding specialists,” but she hasn’t done much except refund me $5.95 in shipping. Thoughts? I could use some words from those experienced in getting bridesmaids dresses.
