Have you talked to your doctor? I've never had Mirena, but I would think that spotting would be something the doctor might have suggestions for.
I would say talk to your doctor too. You shouldn't have to deal with that all the time! I've had the mirena for about 4 years now and I had spotting, well pretty much a period for the entire first 3 months like they said could happen, then it stopped. I don't see why you should still be spotting so many months after. I wish you the best of luck!

i have had my mirena for about ten months i still dont have a regular period i never have, even before the mirena, aunt flow has always decided to show up randomly -- i do not want to remove my mirena but i do want to ensure there is no bleeding not even spotting on my honeymoon less than 2 months from now
