Have any of you had this experience? You loved how you looked in the mirror when wearing your gown at gown searches or fittings, but when you got it at home and tried it on again (and took photos of you in it), you were disappointed in how you look in the dress?
I am feeling this way – I think she is the most beautiful dress and love how I look in a mirror (even when I tried it on yesterday) but my body in the photos was… blech….

It has to do with the light and the way the camera captures it. I noticed this myself and actually went with the dress i thought looked best in the photos…its just the angle and the flash or no flash and aperture used…you look mostly like what you see in the mirror in “real life”…any good photog will know how to capture shots that flatter your body and dress on your big day! So i wouldnt stress:)

Especially with white, you are going to get flattened in pictures. But not in real life or in good pro photos.
