Cute dresses!... I'm not crazy about the belts though... I think the colors and styles are similar enough, that at least every dress does not need one.
I really like that look!! I think as long as the colors don't straightup clash, you can do anything with bridesmaids dresses as far as mismatching goes.
This is pretty similar to what I'm doing! I think it looks great. I think you can take it or leave it with the belts. The one you edited in is quite thick, but it might look nice in person with something a little more subtle.
Here's another option without the belts....
And I picked this to make their belts out of (if i decide to go that direction) with a white or grey ribbon under it...

I'm wanting a simple wedding becuase it is morning/afternoon and I'm wanting something slightly rustic. My dress is lace though with a beaded belt. What are your opinions on how to do this?
OMG so pretty! I'm doing short eggplant/plum dresses too. :-) I actually really like the belts on all the dresses except for the third one from the right. The extra beading on that one at the neckline makes it look busy. The others look gorgeous with that added accessory though, and it would be a great wayt o tie it together with your dress!
can i just ask where that flower girl dress is from?? its SO cute!!
love mismatched bridesmaids btw
@supervixen: Not sure which flower girl dress you mean, but here's the links for both!

Super cute! I like them with and without the belt, I think they are similar enough to get away without it. I think if you did matching jewelry and shoes it would be matchy enough :)
LOVE IT! Love the color, love that they are different but similar at the same time. I could go for the belt or leave it, I don't feel strongly either way. Maybe a belt for the MOH to distinguish? I am sooooo torn myself because everytime I see a wedding with similar but mismatched dresses, I swoon...I'm like oh that is so casual and adorable!!! Then when I see the traditional BM dresses, in the same exact hue, in the same exact dress, I swoon...I'm like that is so traditional and perfect and what I've always imagined. Very torn. But I totally love your idea :) Do it!

Ok! Maybe this will actually post this time. What are some opinions on this combination of dresses? My actual gown has a beaded waist line which is why I edited on in on the BM dresses. They will have some sort of beaded sash or something to tie them together. The flower girl dress isn't edited - that glitter neckline is actually there! How do they go together?
